DALSA’s Evaluation Kit for CCD image sensors will show you how to get the best out of a DALSA sensor’s performance, fast. Combined with our extensive product documentation and application support, this camera reference design will save you vast amounts of time and effort in developing and validating your own camera design and bringing your products to market.
Using an industry-standard CameraLink interface, the Evaluation Kit is a camera reference design that contains all system electronics needed to operate the image sensor, using a robust stacked-board architecture. Operated on a single 6V DC power supply, the on-board microcontroller handles the overall system communication and configuration, enabling rapid system startup. LabVIEW™ software is supplied to initialize and configure the system via a USB interface. The CD-ROM also contains camera configuration files DALSA Xcelera X64-CL PX4 Full framegrabber.
Based on your choice of DALSA image sensor, DALSA’s systems design expertise and peripheral IC’s work together to help you design a high-performance camera for the world’s most demanding applications. Our image sensors and peripheral components provide you with an effective and proven system. Detailed schematics of the Evaluation Kit are available as part of our customer design-in support (on request). The Evaluation Kit includes one /TG (test grade) image sensor.
