DALSA designs and manufactures CCD and CMOS image sensors, the most fundamental components of digital imaging. Our years of research and development have brought us dozens of patents in the design and fabrication of CCD and CMOS image sensors and allowed us to continually refine our products into the most sophisticated, best-performing sensors available.
All of our standard product sensors are RoHS-compliant.

- High sensitivity. Our long experience with x-ray imager design and wafer fabrication delivers very high sensitivity and DQE.
- Higher dynamic range. With more signal and less noise, we offer more dynamic range, preserving more useful image detail in very bright or very dark areas of an image.
- Wafer scale buttable modules for large FOV. Custom monolithic designs are limited only by the size of a wafer, and with buttable modules we can offer active areas of 30 x 20 cm.
- High speed. If your application requires real-time video rates or higher, we can draw upon our extensive experience and product portfolio of high-speed, high-resolution, high-dynamic range designs.
- Radiation-hard designs. DALSA has optimized architectures for radiation hardness is both CCD and CMOS, extending the life of devices and protecting your investments
